A cocktail glass or martini glass, is a drinking glass with a cone-shaped bowl on a stem above a flat base, used to serve a cocktail or champagne. The stem allows the drinker to hold the glass without affecting the temperature of the drink.

Any of you that have had a chance to visit Romania or know people from this old country probably know by now that Sunday is a day for rest that is reserved for spending quality time with family and friends maybe enjoying a leisurely lunch or supper together. When I was a child and still leaving with my parents, I couldn’t wait for Sundays to come. Traditionally my mother would prepare the table getting us kids involved in the day. I remembered my father saying “take out the fancy wine glasses, it’s Sunday!” Yes, this is the Romanian way.
