The Sola Tree is planted in crops in paddy style fields and becomes mature once the trees height reaches six feet. The outer bark is pealed to reveal the inner bark, which is white in color. This tissue can be rolled out, similarly to a gauze cloth and is then dried in the sunlight to prevent decaying. After drying, skilled artists create life-like replicas of petals or flowers.
